Capabilities building • Common protocols and interfaces between public/private response teams, based on Quality of Service. • Methodology to Physical/Virtual risk prevention/response evaluation and resources planning amongst regions. • Remote training of safety service providers of complex emergencies and crisis management early response policies and protocolsResults • Specification of minimum requirements of/for independent safety services • Evaluation CBRN risk and multi-level sharing of resources • Basis for common EU legislation and creation of coordination teams • Specific Training material for those service providers • Establishment of economical and ethical basis for interchange of expertise

To what extent is this project going to duplicate the sophisticated Open Source SAHANA Disaster Management System (www.sahana.lk), that was developed by volunteers after the Indian Ocean tsunami?
The protocols and interfaces have already been solved by Sahana and other projects. But maybe the training needs have not.
