I would like to let you know that the Andalusian Institute of Technology (IAT) is very interested in participating as a partner in a proposal for strand 2 the field of biotechnology for health or TICs.

IAT is an Innovation and Technology Center based in Andalusia, in the south of Spain and has wide experience in the subjects related to the initiative.

The main aspects that made us a good partner for these initiatives are the following:

IAT has high experience in European projects related to Financing innovation and Creation of New Technology based Firms, as for example:

- Organiser of the 1^st and 2^nd European Conferences on financing Innovation and Creation of New Technology based Firms, held in Seville in November 2002 and 2006. In both occasions we count with an incredible panel of speakers and with the support through direct representation from European Commission (Gate 2growth and Europe Innova).

we are lookign looking forward to working with all the TEIP-KIS partners towards a successful submission.

We had a conference meeting over Skype today about Wp1 and Wp2. Ferran wanted to cover some urgent questions. He will be negotiating with Catalonia next week. I try to figure out what we covered. One of the participants represented information technology from Bulgaria.

The generation of the basic information and let it grow into basic knowledge, to include the knowledge stake holders. We talk about actors, participants, trainers, coaches, mentors and incubators participating in an annual European contest. “What do they want from this service?”
